About The Role

The position focuses on managing the FLSmidth aftermarket portfolio within mining and we are seeking an experienced sales manager who possesses a strong technical background and thrives in a fast-paced international work environment, collaborating with skilled and dedicated colleagues across the globe. In this position, you will be able to drive sales and push the bar continuing our ambitious growth journey for our region.
As an individual, you are highly self-motivated and possess exceptional commercial acumen and a strong drive to close the next sales. This role requires proactive engagement with our customers in North Africa, assisting in finding solutions, upgrades, and ensuring comprehensive planning for our customers’ upcoming shutdowns and maintenance activities.

Your Responsibilities
- Plans and executes sales activities, including active client research, booking, and conducting client meetings, to meet established objectives.
- Creates opportunities for sales of spare parts, services, and upgrade & rebuild solutions.
- Implements strategies aligned with a determined price policy, considering market conditions, to ensure the achievement of set goals and targets.
- Develops and nurtures significant customer contacts to foster long-term, profitable relationships.
- Supports our Capital sales teams by assisting in the development of the opportunity pipeline and being present onsite to enhance the chances of winning new business.
Your Qualifications
- A relevant technical background from heavy industry, preferably mining.
- A strong commercial drive and understanding are required.
- 5 years of experience in heavy industries.
- Being great at communicating technical matters to non-technical customers
- You have a highly international mindset and cultural understanding.
- A proven track record, working internationally within aftermarket sales is required.
- You speak and write English fluently, other languages like French or Arabic, would be a strong advantage.
- You call yourself a true traveler as you are expected to travel intensively within the allocated territory.
